I fell asleep on the couch with Oregon ahead 31-0. I woke up at 11:00 and discovered they had won. Couldn't believe it! Then watched the rest of WV-ASU. Holy Cow! I liked to have never gone back to sleep. Anyway, a heck of a bowl season for J. Congrats ti him and everyone on the first page, CP, Chech, Red Elephant and Merk. E-cred to all of you! I was sooo close at 15-23.
  Indeed, "so close".

Hope Jamos is feeling better this morning.  I'm off to the gun show again, but will stay in touch as much as possible.

Lots of recruiting news today.  Bama is atop the Scout rankings, we apparently missed on Ridley #2, and we gained a big commitment yesterday.  Woot.

Good luck at the gun show, Chech. I had a feeling Cavin would not want to split time, or balls thrown to, with Calvin, and go elsewhere. But SC?  Huh?

@Preacher - If he comes today, Preacher, I hope it's after golf, unless I play bad, then he can come early. Just kidding.  Glad you are able to make church today.

Thank you 2. I've actually been sick with that throat and head stuff since Wednesday and to be able to Preach today is such a wonderful feeling. I do hope the family is well my brother. RTR!

Morning All!! Coffee

UGH!!! Another tough night with the "crud" but I'm gonna get better it's just taking more time that I wanted it to take. I had plans for this holiday weekend of Mrs. J and I doing a little hunting but that didn't happen.

I did get to watch a lot of ballgames, basketball and football, but that didn't seem very exciting either. Yesterday was the official day to start the recruiting wars as the Under Armour game was played with some of the players making their commitments. It will only get more intense for some of the coaches trying to hang on to their already committed players. I saw where Ridley's brother, Cavin, committed to the Roosters and I was a little shocked. Cavin has been reported as being an excellent athlete as his brother Calvin but I'm not so sure he's as smart as big brother. The only thing that I can see in that commit is he's wanting easy early playing time. He could get early playing time in T-town if he's good enough but in the case with the Roosters, I would imagine starting positions will be much easier there. I wonder if he's ever seen Muschamp up close when he was wanting a Snickers. If he does sign with the Roosters, I don't think he will make it two years playing for Muschamp. Good luck to him anyway, he's going to need some.

Have a good day everyone. Pray Cheesy

Glad you're up and around, Jamos.  Was a bit worried about you.
Hopefully you'll be 100% by the 11th!

Yeah, J, the cough is the last thing to clear up, usually long after you start feeling better, which I hope will be soon for you.

Golf was a bit brutal today. Played at Tiger point which is on the water and it was cooooold!  Blizzard Looks like the days of 70 degrees are over for a while.

One of the guys in our group is a Dallas Cowboys fan. I threw that stat at him that Bama is
2-0 this year at Jerry World, and Dallas has only won one game there. Up to that point, he always had a good sense of humor.

Wow, 2, you certainly play to win!  Supposed to be a gentleman's game!

Good morning.  Hope you all slept well, and feel well this morning.  I'm off to Memphis for some shopping after a morning workout.

Ha, gentleman's game, right!

Be careful in Memphis. I'm still guessing they have bad people there.

J and Preacher, hope y'all are feeling better this morning.

Everybody I apologize for no prayer and no participation today. I went to church and preached yesterday and taught Bible study last night and I kept getting worse. Today I can't talk and must have the flu. So God Bless and love you all. I may down a little while. RTR Forever!

My gosh, hope you're okay.  You know what to do.  Take care of yourself and get rest.
