Red Sox beat the Rays 12-2. Lester pitches 7 2/3 giving up 2 runs on 3 hits. The bearded men looked good in this game. The Rays must learn how to play the Green Monster if they want to beat Boston in Fenway.

You can credit the BoSox bull pen for that play. They called Meyers off and he thought it was the center fielder. That opened the flood gate. The Rays miss played 4-5 balls off the green monster too. I don't think the box score showed any Rays errors but they miss played several balls in the outfield. The BoSox played well. They got a good start from Lester and the bats came around like they have all year.

The BoSox take a 2-0 lead with a 7-4 win beating Tampa ace David Price. Big Papi hit two HRs. Off to Tampa to finish off the Rays on Monday.

The Rays have the worse park in the majors IMO.

The Rays get a 9th inning walk off HR to win Game 3 5-4. They stay alive to play Game 4 tonight. Jake Peavy will pitch for BoSox.

I changed channels to watch the Falcons game and Boston was up 3-0. Apparently it did not go well after that.

It was a good game. Boston got three cheap runs to go up 3-0. The Rays got runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 out and their best hitter Evan Longoria at the plate. We decided to pitch to him and he hit a 3 run HR to tie the game. The Rays went up 4-3 in the 8th and we tied in in the top of the 9th. The Rays ended it with a 2 out 2 strike walk off HR.

I feel confident the BoSox will finish them off tonight.

Kazowie! Tough way to lose. I'm actually pulling for the BoSox to win it all now that the Braves are out...................again.

The Rays are tough in elimination games. They had to beat the Toronto the last game of the regular season to tie Texas for a wild card spot. They beat Texas in a one game playoff to advance to a one game wild card playoff against Cleveland. The BoSox were up 2 games to none and they won last night to stay alive. So far they are 4-0 in elimination games. We will see how they do tonight. I think their luck runs out.

Shocked, yea and I thought Boston would take it in 3 and here they are about to have to go to full 5 games if not careful.  RTR!

The Rays played the BoSox tough but Boston was just too strong. The Rays used nine pitchers in a nine inning game. That set an AL Playoff record. Madden was pushing all the right buttons but the Boston pitching was too much.

Boston advances and will play the winner of the Detroit - Oakland Series on Saturday at Fenway.
