Title: Auburn/Ole Miss Reality and Auburn Delusion of Their Fans
Post by: Marshal Dillon on October 21, 2018, 03:23:35 PM
I love the hyperbole of the Auburn announcers and even sports writers after this game. One article talked about how Auburn had found it's rushing game after having 269 yards. They left out one teeny fact, Ole Miss ranked 123rd out of 129 teams in rushing defense and 115th in total defense. No doubt a great achievement by Malzahn and rushing game.

P.S.

Alabama is 1st in rushing defense, UGA is 20th.

THREAD NAMED: How you get to the Turds level

Hire an average coach from the NFL who has college experience. Promise him he will be able to recruit anyone he wants. Commit the money, homes, jobs, cars, clothes etc. through a secret club composed of lawyers, doctors, business owners, and silent partners from money in the NFL, and any other place you need money from fans or alums. Build the base for several years to the point where HS kids will line up to play for that school and enjoy the dynasty. I am in my early 70's and assisted in recruiting when alums could. This the ONLY way you get to the talent level of the Turds!

And have the ncaa in your back pocket, along with the media, both state and national. Not possible for Auburn.

And infiltrate the conference office and sec officials group..... and there ya have it, easy peezy.....

You pretty much nailed it Shug. And I’m not naive, everyone does it some, but no one does it as much or as well as they do.

Dye got close to this and remember what happened? We got set up and hammered by the bammer machine. Nobody else is allowed to behave like them. Nobody. They are the Harlem Globetrotters. Everybody else are The Washington Generals, only there to provide an opponent. I hope I live long enough to see an implosion.

Careful Shug! The Saban Worshipers on here will start accusing you of wearing a tin foil hat or just being jealous.

Preach on brother. We all know what’s going on down there. It’s so obvious.

There's so much more. This is how losers talk in all walks of life when they are not successful in getting a job, promotion, or anything else.

In a nutshell, according to Barn fans on the thread, Alabama has ESPN, SEC Office, SEC Refs, CBS Sports, FORBES magazine (Saban on cover), the NCAA, and the entire media on their side. However, they insist they are not paranoid or delusional. Right?

Did not expect 1st.  The fact that most teams find themselves down by 4 TDs by the 2nd quarter and have to abandon the run game pretty early probably factors into it.  :dunno:

Losers never take responsibility.  It is always someone else's fault.  Nobody made them hire a gimmicky high school coach and pay him 49 million just because he gets lucky every now and then.  They did that all by themselves.

We're not first.  We're 19th and Georgia is 40th.

MD's stats appear to be from 2017, although Bama is No. 1 in rushing TDs allowed.

Glad someone double checked this, hate to give out bad info. I saw Bama was 12th in scoring defense at 15.9 per game & 12th in total defense. Good stats for a team that lost 7 or 8 starters on D, and several good back-ups. Hope I used the right year this time.
