It's in Santa Barbara.  Oil containment? 

I've told this on TS but in early-mid 80's drilled the last well off the HONDO platform (famous for all the law suits surrounding it) for Exxon, only a mile or so off the Santa Barbara coast. The heliport I used was on the UCSB campus. I may have been earning $150K back then but if I talked to a girl in a bar, would say I worked in a shoe store (Al Bundy) instead. If those people found out you were oilfield, they would chase you through the village with pitchforks and torches-- like Frankenstein.

Oh boy! The woman saved .50 cents by buying some Family Dollar brand X mustard instead of the classic yellow we usually buy. With 3 kids away at school, this bottle may last 3 months. Forget the argument that yellow mustard is just for kids, 'cause I like it, but only the French's Mustard-- the good kind. My solution was just to throw it out and tell her to go buy some French's. But apparently the red scourge (communist takeover) is coming so we can't even discuss that. Plus, I hate just throwing something like that out. So does anyone on this forum wish to buy a slightly used, large bottle of Brand X yellow mustard? Remember,--the seller is motivated!
