Anyone hearing anything about this? I've read it on 2 other boards (they are saying rumors, too), but can't find anything to substantiate it. Lawd, I hope it ain't true!

There’s a rumor that Minkah has a lacerated kidney.  I personally doubt it is true at this point though...  I certainly hope it isn't...  Pray

About 45 years ago I was playing tackle football on the Quad.  I blocked a guy pretty hard, sending him slamming the ground and gashing his mouth.  But I had broken a process off my vertebra, and bruised my kidney.

All of this to tell you that the symptoms are 'bloody urine'.  It can be a concern, because ruptured vessels to the kidney can be fatal.  Hopefully his injury isn't thus threatening.

I'd venture to say that anyone who played high-school or college football has suffered a bruised kidney.

How bad is Minkah's?  I doubt we'd know about it unless it required attention of a physician.

I trust CNS and Staff's opinion on this, no way would they risk a player's career. There are times they will accept a players own opinion as to whether he's capable of playing though.
