The Crimson Tide opened Sunday as a 6.5-point favorite over Mississippi State, according to VegasInsider.com. It's the 64th straight game in which Alabama has been a betting favorite.....

Which team is ranked #1??   Smiley

I'm ready for another slobber knocker game; Miss St being the slobber and Bama being the knocker.

I gotta say I Do Not like this spread in our favor. I was hoping msu could come into the game number 1 and a big spread so they could just relax and have fun. We don't have a chance at them I am afraid for whatever reason; tired, beat up, just plain out of popcorn and cowbells. I hope ya get my drift. RTR!

MSU's only road test this year has been LSU.  They gave up 29 points to a young LSU team that was still finding its way early in the season, and have actually given up a lot of points this year to weak teams such as UAB and Kentucky.

I think Bama's defense shuts down their offense, and back at home Sims has a big day.  I'll still choose 7-6 in the predict the score thread (as I have every week since A&M), but I think Bama wins by more than a TD.

I'm a little concerned about Bama's running game with Yeldon hurt, hopefully somebody, other than Henry, can step up and play a big role. If Bama can throw the ball with good success, this would help the running game.
