He is an experienced DB albeit in the ACC. Still, his playing experience is something Bama needs. Gotta hope our coaches will help him improve in a hurry, which will give the freshmen time to learn the D.
The portal had few - if any - top guys. To me, coaches have done a good job finding the best of what's out there. There will be a lot of unknowns in the first few games. Gotta hope some guys step up and stay healthy.
The step up needs to come before the 4th week or Georgia game. RTR! |

Nelson is really good but, IMO, we need a big man with some weight. Nelson has shown signs of greatness but he has also been knocked out of contention for rebounds. I'd love to see a big in the range of 6'-11" to 7'-2" with some muscle mass to give us a solid presence underneath the basket. Maybe I'm wrong though...  We are getting a 6-11 240# big man in Big Cliff. That will allow Nelson to play his natural 4 position. Big Cliff is a two time all defensive Big Ten player. Second team all Big Ten. A rim protector and rebounder who will average 10-12 points. The piece we were missing last year. That's GREAT. I knew that someone would come through with the official news of what has been happening in T-town lately... Thanks Pmull  Since Cliff Omoruyi was added Bama has jumped from being projected as a Top 10 team next year to Top 2. Kansas and Bama are projected to play for the championship. ESPN Bracketology has Bama projected as a #1 Seed. This is unbelievable because of one player. I always hope we are rated lower so we have that chip on the shoulder. RTR! |

Howdy folks. I thought I was the only one slacking around here but the last post prior to this was back 3 days ago. I hope you are all doing well. Thankfully, our dismal softball season should be ending soon. I just wish they would repacle Murphy. He just isn't getting it done any longer... I wonder if CNS would be willing to coach the SB team? I hear he is available...  Hey NALT, maybe he could give inspiring speeches next year I like you, think this year is gone. We just can't get the players like we use to.  RTR! |

We also have 6-10 Aiden Sherrell, a 4 star freshman, coming in. If Jarin Stevenson returns he is also 6-10. Even without Sears this will be our best roster ever. With Sears it will be beyond great.
If we this kind of size for CNO I think we will be tough this year. RTR! |
