...and to the mods.  No this isn't a shameless suckup attempt at e-cred.   Tongue  As one of the "original members" of TOS's Halftime/Lounge, this forum is gaining speed and momentum at supersonic speed.

It reminds me of the original day of TS, when it was all family and Wasson ruled.  The only significant difference is the general is, shall we say...a bit more mellow now.   Grin

Props to the general, supercoach, terrie and to the members who are rapidly showing their loyalty here.

It's early, and I tend to get sentimental and emotional with my first coffee of the day.  I now need to go find my Kleenex.   Tongue

Thanks man, I think it will turn out really well here.  To say I am more mellow is an understatement.  Since we met I have gotten sober and dealt with many of my demons.  Basically, I grew up a lot in front of y'all the last few years.  Don't worry, I am still really immature.

Another LOL....immature is good.  Or so my kids tell me.  Oh, don't forget I knew quite well the biting retorts and midnight rants from coonass-pirate.  Many was the time I logged off and just hid under my desk.   Tongue

One of the best times in those days was when you were in treatment; all those threads of support to you.  Sort of seemed to put things into perspective for all of the TS members.

Quit making me all mushy.  CP won't believe it's me.   Smiley

Question - (now I'm laughing - one of your former, favorite "rants" used to be in your sig line - "the search button is your friend" - or something like that).  So at the risk of deja vu, and not doing a search (typing now under my desk), we have to wait an hour to issue an e-cred to the same poster?  Is this an economic inflation control mechanism?   Huh?

Lol, yeah something like that I guess, have to have some sort of limit on it.  Feel free to use the Rose Administration forum to make alternate suggestions, but I think everyone is pretty comfortable with the 1hr wait, maybe.

Yes there is an hour wait.  This is to prevent trolls from coming along and zapping people down to zero.  Or I suppose you could manipulate it the other way pretty quickly.  I looked at lowering it down to 15 minutes, but the option is set in hours.

Oh, the compliments were well deserved.  Can't believe how fast this place has grown in popularity.

As far as the hour-wait, I should have realized that was a "troll control" feature (oh... and feel free to patent that phrase...sorta catchy!   Cheesy )

Hey Supercoach I think it should stay an hour. Also when I was first on TS I knew the general then and I just rode right along with days of slumber and then one day he shined like the glory you just couldn't imagine. RTR!

Well, now I know.  I've been wondering how I keep getting e-creds for doing nothing but lurking.   Cheesy  (shhh...we better be careful...people will refer to our e-creds as like-creds.)   Grin

I come through ever now and then and pass out some e-creds when I see something I like.  I am not subject to the time limit.
