This is hilarious. See if you can spot the irony.

:deadhorse: I wonder if this guy has ever been to an LSU/Bama game. If so he should understand the rivalry between the two and maybe understand what real football is all about.

Some of these writers/analysts think the NCG is no more than a popularity contest and should not involve the true meaning of the game, having the two best teams in the country play each other.

It cracks me up that he is implying that if Bama wins, their NC would be meaningless or tainted. Then you look at the pic of the so-called interception, and the only hands on that ball is Michael Williams'. 'Splain to me again which game's tainted?  ???

He sounds like he could be from Lee County.  :)

That picture says it all a catch by williams. He is an inch from the ground. That was not an INT. I believe we will win.

This article seems just a bit biased.  Everything after that pic (which shows what I didn't want to believe) was slanted toward LSU.

Let me provide an example for those who suggest that an Alabama win wouldn't be decisive:
The Olympic Gold Medal goes to the winner of each race, regardless of who wins the preliminaries.  May I have an "AMEN"?

Bring home the gold crystal , boys.

Do you think the announcers will use this play to preemt the NCG and to show why Bama wanted another shot at LSU.

Usually, I'd say about 100 times, but they paid very little attention to it when it actually happened in the game, so I'm not sure.

I can see the point of view from an LSU fan.

Having edged Bama out in Tuscaloosa, and then having to play same Bama team in New Orleans for all the marbles.

My LSU buddy ( mike the tiger) told me 2 weeks ago he dreaded a rematch. Hoped it did not happen.

I laughed and told I wanted a rematch.

He hasn't emailed since we beat the barners. Avoiding the issue.

No ( mike the tiger ) Michael Mc____ is originally New Orleans. He lives out here in McCalla now. We go to Pleasant Hill church together. He is an engineer at Mercedes Benz in Vance. He graduated from LSU in 1984-85?

His parents and his sister lost their homes from "katrina" in New Orleans.

He is real nice. I guess I have known him since around 1995. My son is finishing up JCIB high school where his 2 children graduated 3-4  years ago.

He sent me this picture after they beat us in Tuscaloosa!!!

How he wishes he had not rubbed it in!!

LOL!

I'm tired of people saying we'd be co-champions if we won this time. The strength of teams change during the year. Otherwise the rankings would never change from week to week. If we win in New Orleans on LSU's turf, Bama is the best team at the end of the season, no matter what happened in November.

I like the fact that they are already making excuses.  They know what is coming and there is absolutely nothing they can do about it.

Well said.  I get visions when I hear, "what is coming and there is absolutely nothing they can do about it."

I started it.  Sorry, I got a little sidetracked watching the "hell is coming to breakfast" Josie Wales clip.  It should be lots of fun.
