Jackie needs to keep the ball down in the zone for strikes.  They crushed everything up in the zone, even pitches that were way too high to be strikes.

I think we will get to Ricketts tomorrow, but I am concerned about how Jackie will hold up.  They got one extra time through the order than we did, and she pitched about 150 pitches.  Rickets was just a little over a hundred the last time I noticed.

Big game emotions will get her through this but if they were making contact today, they'll do it again. We need to get somje offense going and play error free on "D". This team will not take this in stride-- I just hope they can rest tonight . I wish it was an afternoon game so they wouldn't be sitting around all day tomorrow.

I didn't get to watch today but I saw on ESPN I believe we lost 4-1. If so, Oklahoma is a great team too, but we shall return tomorrow. RTR!

OU beat us in every phase of the game last night. We were lucky the score was not worse than it was. OU had runners on base all night.

We can either phone it in tonight or roll up our shelves and come out ready to play. I think we will be ready.

I am concerned about Traina. She has pitched a lot of innings with only one day off. She looked tired last night to me. She had trouble keeping the ball low in the strike zone and OU was wearing the high pitch out. Her pitches did not seem to have good movement. Some nights pitchers just do not have their best stuff but I think she is tired. It will be hard for CPM to take the ball out of her hands but I will not be surprised to see Locke on the mound tonight. Whoever gets the start needs to come out and take control of the game early.

I give OU a lot of credit. They are by far the best team we have seen this year. We need to jump on Ricketts early. We also need to quit swinging at balls and helping her out.

CMM ought to threaten to sell the whole lot of them to the sex trade industry if they lose like that again. JMHO

CNS needs to get his azz out to OKC and talk to the team like he did the gymnastic girls. Maybe he threatened the sex trade industry on them too?

I imagine CPM has their passports in a drawer in Tuscaloosa. One quick call to CNS and it is Bangkok here they come.

Exactly bro Ricky...that's Motivation. And to quote the ole Marine Corps motto...
We will Plan...Adapt...an Overcome. Jackie just needs to control her pitches below the waist an focus on the corners. Drop that 'Rise' pitch, an I think (if the bats can come around) we have a good shot at winning #2...jmo

No PBP tonight? Bama leaves bases loaded in top 1st with Dawson groundout. No score.

Fenton hits chopper to SS who throws to 3rd & mishandles after Lunceford slides into her. Run scores. 1-1. Lunceford ok.
