The availability of D'Haquille Williams is a huge factor in this game.  If he plays, they score.  If not, not.

So I'm wavering on 39-7 or 39-0.

Their receivers are tall.  Our CBs & safeties are not.  Not a good situation.

Just sayin'...

You nailed it.  They probably beat aTm if he had played the whole game, and UGA too.

This is one problem (among many) for the playoff committee.  How do they consider losses affected by injuries?
Ohio State is the prime example, after losing 2 QBs.  Do they get ranked based on their wins, or get penalized after losing the QB last Saturday?  Do they get a mulligan for their only loss being right after losing their 1st QB?

We lost several starters for the Iron Bowl 2010 when Cam led the comeback: Julio, Trent Richardson, Ingram, Barrett Jones, Mark Barron, and finally Greg McElroy.  Nobody seems to remember that; only that Cam led the Aubs to a (rare) win.

I remember Mark Barron playing with a shoulder problem and not being able to raise his arm, which is why they completed one of the long TD passes.  He was in perfect position to intercept the ball.  It seems like I can remember AJ coming in at QB for the last drive or 2.  I don't remember too much about the other injuries.

Julio had a knee injury, which limited his play in the second half. He didn't play at game's end.
Darius Hanks suffered bruised ribs, and sat out much of the game.
Trent Richardson had a left knee injury in the loss at LSU, and was limited (but played anyhow).
Barrett Jones dressed for the game, but couldn't play (ankle sprain).
Greg McElroy had a concussion in the fourth quarter, and was taken out.  AJ had a terrible day as a reserve.

What about HTWMI?  I know he had the 20 yard fumble that stayed in bounds until it got to the end zone in the first half.

I remember that too, and that he played most of the game.  But it seems that he was injured late too.
That fumble was pure 'golden horseshoe'.

I do not like the committee considering loses affected by injuries. Injuries are part of the game. Championship teams either have luck on their side and avoid major injuries or have depth at every position. Wins, loses and strength of schedule should determine who makes the Final 4. Billy Bob's turf toe should not affect the committee's decision.

They said they'd take 'injuries into consideration'.
But I agree with you.  Do you assume that OSU would have beaten Virginia Tech without the injury to their QB?
Go tell VT that!
