Wow, I hope everybody is out of the path of this stuff. Has anybody heard anything about damage in either Walker or Marion counties?

Walker Co has a Tornado Watch until 3AM.  No damage reported.

I think the worst is past us now. A lot of rain and lightning but the wind was not near as bad as expected.

Good evening from St Augustine. I just saw what was going on a little while ago. I hope none of you are still in the path of the bad weather. For those that still have to wait it out, I hope it misses you. I may be driving home through it in the morning.

When I get home, I'll share my fishing experience from the Keys. In the meantime, please be safe and keep an eye on the weather.

Tuscaloosa is about to get a big cell in ~30 min.  There are severe thunderstorm warnings.  The cell is ~10 miles west of Moundville, heading NE.

J and I were communicating a little while ago and he said it hadn't reached there yet. I pray it passes them by.

Looks like the cell just hitting Tuscaloosa now is the first of several between now and midnight.  There's a big one in Meridian, and its heading NE toward T-town too.  It'll be a long night.

Looks like Pensacola got a big blast of severe weather this morning.  Otherwise, things have calmed down in our area.

Hope everybody is well.  Here's a pretty photo to remind us to appreciate spring.

I hope everybody made it through the night. I haven't talked with Mrs. 2 yet this morning, but Intellicast warnings on my phone showed that severe weather passed through P'cola a little while ago. I'll be driving through it going home today. I hope J will post here shortly so we'll know he and Mrs. J are ok.

I'll post more when I get home, but here's a little sample of the fishing in the keys.

Sunday, we were graced with the presence of a Miami Dolphin cheerleader. She made an excellent gaff girl and boy could she fish. Pics later.

Gray Snapper?

Mangrove Snapper. There was a restaurant next door that will prepare and cook your catch. We had this snapper, some Amberjack and Permit. All were delicious. but the Permit was the best. First time I ever had it. Too bad you can't buy it anywhere and the limit is 2.

BTW, Mrs. 2 is fine. She slept through the storm.

Yummy.  Tongue Tongue Tongue

"Mangrove Snapper" is the local name for Gray Snapper.  That's a VERY big one.  Sounds like a great trip.

Morning all, Charter is oos so I'm using the phone. Things got a little scary for a while here last night as we were getting tornado warnings one after another. We were blessed as the tornado passed by us about a mile to the west of us. So far I know of one fatality in T-town. The lightning was horrendous for a while. Glad it is all over with.
