Wow! Talk about planning ahead. LSU will compensate their graduation losses with a cupcake non-con schedule. They drop Oregon and West Virginia and pick up mighty Washington & Towson as replacements. Plus, they are offf the week before the Alabama game (here we go again!)

Sat, Sep 01    North Texas    Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium)      TBA

Sat, Sep 08    Washington    Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium)      TBA

Sat, Sep 15    Idaho    Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium)      TBA

Sat, Sep 22    Auburn *    at Auburn, Ala. (Jordan-Hare Stadium)      TBA

Sat, Sep 29    Towson    Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium)      TBA

Sat, Oct 06    Florida *    at Gainesville, Fla. (Ben Hill Griffin Stadium)      TBA

Sat, Oct 13    South Carolina *    Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium)      TBA

Sat, Oct 20    Texas A&M *    at College Station, Texas (Kyle Field)      TBA

I would make Georgia the early favorite to win the SEC and maybe even the NC with this schedule.

Sat, Sep. 01   Buffalo   Athens, Ga.
Sat, Sep. 08   Missouri *   Columbia, Mo.
Sat, Sep. 15   Florida Atlantic   Athens, Ga
Sat, Sep. 22   Vanderbilt *   Athens, Ga.
Sat, Sep. 29   Tennessee *   Athens, Ga.
Sat, Oct. 06   South Carolina *   Columbia, S.C.
Sat, Oct. 13   Open
Sat, Oct. 20   Kentucky *   Lexington, Ky.
Sat, Oct. 27   Florida *   at Jacksonville, Fla.
Sat, Nov. 03   Ole Miss *   Athens, Ga.
Sat, Nov. 10   Auburn *   Auburn, Ala.
Sat, Nov. 17   Georgia Southern   Athens, Ga.
Sat, Nov. 24   Georgia Tech   Athens, Ga.

They have an outstanding QB returning and several other players, plus I think their D will be better.

I don't know.  Their schedule is harder next year than it was this year, even though they avoid Bama, LSU and Arky.  At Missouri, SC, and Auburn; the will lose at least one of those.

LSU schedule is easier, but they played a tough ooc this year with Ducks and WVU. With Georgia not playing the top three in the west again looks unfair. That alone puts them in the SEC CG representing the East. Tennessee and Florida probably still be struggling. Georgia could still lose to USCe and still win out. Vandy may be Georgia's other tough game.Wow, what if Vandy wins East. What if Missouri wins the east.

Bloom! Just imagine the coaches and players and fans from Missouri and TAM looking at the these schedules today for the first time.

Look for Vandy to spoil a few parties next year.

I think they used to be called Towson State Univ. Located somewhere in Maryland. They're known for being part of the cupcake BB schedule of Big East & ACC teams. Kinda like Alabama A&M against Alabama. They are 0-12 so far this year in BB and EVERYBODY is killing them.

I can see Missouri winning the East, or at least competing for the title with Georgia and USC.  Vandy is the wild card, with dramatic improvement under the new coach and unprecedented recruiting.

TAM will be getting a new coach.  Despite the millions offered, that is going to be a hard sell.

And yes, with their schedule and returning players, I think LSU will be the team to beat next year.

You could be right, but it really depends on whether a couple of juniors declare for the NFL Draft. I expect Claiborne, their All American CB to declare. They have 4 seniors on D and incredibly, they start 6 sophomores on the D. On offense they lose 5 seniors including the QB & backup QB. Randle at WR is a junior and could go NFL.

 Huh?

I have to agree. LSU is not to me loosing anybody that will really hurt them. Their defense will be tough again. Their offense will be like this year. RTR!

Looking at their backups and how they have played this year, I don't think LSU will lose a step defensively.  Losing two senior QBs, though, and possibly Randle, could be tough for them offensively.  That is the ?-Mark.

You have to give Miles credit. He took a team with 6 sophomores on their D and produced an outstanding defense and team. They will be a force next year, but their QB position could be a huge problem-area.

As long as Alabama is still on LSU's schedule, it's going to stay tough.
