Glad everyone is off to a good start to the day. I had a very pleasant walk myself. It was very cloudy as I started and just for a brief moment, the full moon appeared from the clouds and I snapped off a couple of pics with my phone before it was swallowed up again.




As I passed the clubhouse, I came up on the next street corner, and the biggest red tail hawk I've ever seen was just standing on the ground watching me. I figured once I got close, he would fly away, but he didn't. I got within 10 feet and I slowly pulled out my phone to take his pic. He then decides to fly away, so no pic. He was huge.

I'm hoping the rest of the day is good, as well.

Well it has been awful in Heflin, we had 2 houses on fire. 431 and 78 is closed due to water over the bridge. RTR!

Good morning folks.  I woke up alive again this morning thankfully.  Also, my middle daughter arrived early this morning from South Carolina to visit for the weekend.  Good to see her come home for a few days. Jamos definitely knows her as she was my big softball player.  She was good too but had to miss her senior year of high school softball after tearing her ACL in basketball...Otherwise I really feel that she would have played college ball somewhere...

Hope Chech catches a bunch of fish and doesn't get eaten by a bear.  Also hope 2 enjoys his walk with the ducks... Sorry to hear about those house fires Preacher.

NALT, the ducks are still there but the geese have vamoosed. It looked like all the goslings had matured, so they may have headed north.

Arky shipping the bed the night before last, came back to bite them. Oregon State won the CWS.
