Good morning to all. Coffee

These cool mornings sure make the coffee taste better.

2, have a safe trip and why don't you leave your golf clubs at home so you will have more time for work. By the way, your remark about me being 100 yards past your drive has more to that story. That 100 yards is either to the left or to the right of your ball, either in the woods or the water.  Smiley

Today is cooking hot sauce day, the Rooster Fire. Three of us grew some Jalapenos this year as we were getting low on our hot sauce so today we cook it up. The weatherman has helped us out for a change with the nice weather as it has to be cooked outside.

Chech, you need to come on over for the LSU game. Wink

Have a great day everyone, the weather is perfect for it.

  @ the yardage comment.

I think Chech is coming for the LSU game. I'm going to ask one of my business partners to come with. He's an LSU fan, but I guarantee he'll turn me down. He hates Bama. Poor soul.

Bless his heart, tell him it's still not to late in life to better himself and become a Bama fan and we like LSU fans too.  Maybe we need to find out if if anymore CRS will be in town for the game, I know hscoach will be here. Maybe we could all meet up for a nice meal on that Friday and draw up a game plan for Bama.

I forgot to get my picks in for last nights games.  Sad  I would have gone 1-1 picking UK and Stanford so not much harm done.

I thought the barn might win but I was pulling for UK. The barn defense is not any better after hiring Ted Roof VanGorder Ellis Johnson Will Muschamp.

I don't think a young Buddy Ryan could help that D.

I was listening to Scott McKinney on sports radio yesterday in my travels and he told the story of when he played baseball for Ole Miss, that the team got to go to Chicago for a Cubs game. Don Kessinger was the Ole Miss baseball coach at the time. During the game Scotty Mac went to the bathroom and was relieving himself at the urinal. This man came up to the urinal next to him. Scott looked over to see that it was Harry Caray.

Scott turned to him and said "Wow! You're Harry Caray!" Caray boomed in that voice of his and yelled "Hey! Don't splash that over here!"

Scott calls it his "I once peed on Harry Caray's shoes" story.
I took my younger brother (I have three brothers) to a Cubs game.  He was at UAB Med School at the time, and SW airlines had just opened up in BHM and were offering $50 flights to Chicago, where I was working.  He and his buddy wanted to meet Harry Caray, so we waited around after the game by his booth.  When Harry came out, my brother went up to him and said he had flown all the way from Alabama to see a Cubs game, and would Harry take a photo with him.  Of course Harry couldn't say no to that, so my brother and his friend flanked Harry Caray, and I took the photo.  They look like three frat brothers with their arms thrown around each other.  I blew up the photo and had it framed, and it still hangs on my brother's wall 28 years later.

There is nothing like home made hot sauce.      I usually make a green tomatillo salsa with home grown tomatillos, cilantro and jalapenos.  And I make a habanero hot sauce/relish; a little goes a long way so it lasts all year.

Did you get the chance to eat at "Harry Caray's Restaurant"? 'Tis awesome, not just the food, but also the memorabilia.

Gotcha. CP, if you ever get the chance to go back, check the original one out. You'll definitely enjoy.

I see where the Mets eliminated HL's Dodgers.

Yep, to a thunderous silence in Dodger Stadium.
