Title: SEC Coaches since Saban came to Alabama
Post by: SUPERCOACH on September 27, 2016, 06:15:20 PM
I was thinking now that Les Miles is gone, Nick Saban has been at Alabama longer than any other coach in the SEC has been at their school.  So I did a little research and put together this list of coaches that have come or gone at current SEC schools since Saban's arrival in Tuscaloosa:

School                      Coaches
ArkansasHouston Nutt, Bobby Petrino, John L. Smith, and Bret Bielema
AuburnTommy Tuberville, Gene Chizik, and Gus Malzahn
FloridaUrban Meyer, Will Muschamp, D. J. Durkin, and Jim McElwain
GeorgiaMark Richt and Kirby Smart
KentuckyRich Brooks, Joker Phillips, and Mark Stoops
LSULes Miles and Ed Orgeron
Mississippi StateSylvester Croom and Dan Mullen
MissouriGary Pinkel and Barry Odom
Ole MissEd Orgeron, Houston Nutt, and Hugh Freeze

TennesseePhillip Fulmer, Lane Kiffin, Derek Dooley, and Butch Jones

I have a football from the 2011 season. The season before A&M and Mizzou joined the league. It was signed by all 12 SEC coaches. Only CNS and Dan Mullen are still coaching and at the same school.

You know I was thinking, I bet some of those East school coaches are glad they don't have CNS every year. They not only made the players quit during the game but made coaches quit also. I use to think this was what Steve Spurrier wanted to do why he ran up the score all he could. lol, RTR!
