Howdy folks.  Welp, I had my surgery on Tuesday. I now have a very nice, and big incision mark across my neck.  The doc cleaned out the herniated disc and inserted a brand new prosthetic cervical disc.  I am almost completely pain free with the exception of the stiffness in my neck where the doc cut through the muscles to get to the spine. I still have a bit of tingling numbness in my right thumb though.  The doctor said that may never go away but if it does it will be the last thing. I hope you all have a great holiday weekend.  Try and stay cool or warm and well fed...

Doc said for me to not lift anything heaver than a gallon of milk for a few days.  He told me to take it easy for a couple of days then I can do pretty much anything I want. I think I will be riding the mower this weekend too. I wasn't planning on doing it but I think it will be ok.

Skinless chicken thighs with green herbs and corn on the cob for me. All cooked on the grill. I cook the green beans on the side burner with onions and sweet peppers.
