Texas run ruled Florida 10-0 yesterday. We will play Florida at 2:00 today.

Baseball continued its year end slump losing to 3-0 to Stetson to end the season. After a promising start to the season, we ended on a bad note going 1-5 in the last six games. The exact opposite of peaking at the right time.

I feel good about the direction of the program. Coach Vaughn looks like a winner. He took over a program that was in a mess after firing Bohannon and our best players leaving in the portal. He put together a team that played hard and won a lot of big games. We won series against Tennessee, Arkansas, and South Carolina. Three top ten teams. He has a lot of work to do to rebuild the team for next year. We need pitching and will need to replace some position players that will graduate or go pro. Who knows what will happen in the portal.

Coach Vaughn is young, aggressive, and the players like him. I think he is the right man for the job. I am looking forward to many improvements in year two.

Bama in a weather delay. The game is tentatively scheduled to start at 2:30.

We somehow find a way to keep winning. We are now 3-0 in the NCAA Tournament in elimination games.

No sir. FSU beat Stetson 7-2. We are in the loser's bracket. UCF plays FSU today on the winner's side.

Bama loses to UCF 8-7 in a back-and-forth close game. Bama plays Stetson Saturday at 11:00 in an elimination game.

Bama eliminates Duke winning a tight 2-1 game. We are off Saturday and will play the loser of the Texas vs Florida game Sunday at 2:00.

Regional #2 Bama plays #3 UCF today at 5:00 CT. The game can be streamed on ESPN+.

#1 Florida State plays #4 Stetson at 11:00.

Bama vs Duke at 6:00 CT on ESPN. Elimination game. Win or go home.

UCLA Beat Bama 4-1 in the opening game of the WCWS. Bama out hit UCLA 6-4 but could only score one run. UCLA got a single run early and a 3 run home run the 6th to secure the win.

Bama falls to the loser's bracket where they will face the loser of Oklahoma vs Duke on Friday.

Mark Sears and Jarin Stevenson both withdraw from the NBA and announce they will return to Alabama for another year. That fills all 13 scholarship positions. This team is loaded with talent. This coming year is the most anticipated Alabama basketball season ever.

Not that it matters but we are the #2 playing #3 UCF. The only advantage of being the #2 is we will be the home team.

Alabama had a pretty good Memorial Day Weekend sports day yesterday.

1. Softball beat UT to advance to the WCWS.
2. Filip Planinsek won the Men's NCAA Single Tennis Title. The first Bama player to ever do
    that.
3. Former golfer Davis Riley won the PGA Tournament in Fort Worth. His second win as a pro.
    He won a cool $1.6 Mil.
4. Track and Field is also making some noise advancing many athletics from preliminaries to
    the Nationals.

With ESPN+ you can get almost any NCAA sporting event. It requires internet service but I figure if you are reading this you have internet.

I have a good feeling about this team and coaching staff. I like our chances of making the 12-team playoff. I also think the offense will be more like the Kiffin & Sark years than the last three years. I also think Deboer has never had this much talent to work with. He inherited a lot, but he also made some very good personnel moves since he got here.

I am looking forward to seeing this team tee it up. The schedule is a good one too.
