Brown is in line for his most playing time yet Saturday against Florida.
Brown was spotted working with the first-team nickel defense opposite junior Cyrus Jones. Jackson started the past two games opposite of Jones, but exited in last week's third quarter with an injury.
"Tony's definitely improving, definitely getting better," Alabama coach Nick Saban said after Wednesday's practice. "I think the opportunities that he's had to play in the last two games have been good for his development and his confidence. He will play a lot in this game."
