You know those ladies have been a #1 type team for the last few years. They carry the Alabama name proudly. They have a couple of players that pop that sock like rock. RTR!

I never expected them to win them all. Like every year this team is good. Hopefully they will come back strong and still win the tourny. I would not bet against them.

I just saw where the girls beat Furman 3-1 earlier today on a 2 run walk off home run by Lock. They are ahead of #13 Oregon 9-0 last time I checked.

Our softball program is awesome.

"LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. | The No. 1 University of Alabama softball team concluded day two of the Citrus Classic by routing No. 13 Oregon, 10-0, and slipping by Fordham, 3-1, Saturday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. The Crimson Tide improved to 19-1.

The Tide offense scored three runs in each of the first three innings and added another in the fourth to secure the run-rule victory over the Ducks.

Senior Kelsi Dunne improved to 8-1 on the season as the right-hander allowed just two hits and struck out seven in the five-inning shutout."
