Good morning folks.  The morning is beautiful today. I wish I were off work so I could go fishing mowing.  I hope you are right about the cold temps in the 30's Doc.  I'm ready for the August temps...

Fishing Report:

I got on the river by about 11:30, and had caught over 60 white bass (and one gaspergou) by 2:00.  Hard to believe, but it got boring.  They bit every cast.

So I paddled slowly back to the landing in the shade of the shallows, enjoying the birds and flowers of the swamp.  Two Barred Owls were hooting, and a Pileated Woodpecker was jackhammering a rotten tree.  Nice day.

How was golfballing?

I have a doctor appointment anyhow, so likely that I'll sit in a waiting room most of the morning (after exercise).  So, no coffee or food this morning until after the blood sappers finish with me.

Every cast, huh? Doesn't sound boring to me. 

Golf balling was much better yesterday. I shot an 83. Wish I could go back out again today, but that ain't happening.

BTW, for any of you who visit WoollyAl, things should be fixed in the next 2-3 hours.  My hosting company did a server migration last night, and I had to update the DNS settings this morning since I don't have the domain registered through the same company.  Long story short, it may take up to 3 hours for the changes to propagate through the interwebs.

Or I just forgot to pay the bill...

It's definitely path dependent (i.e. what series of "pipes" you go through to access).  I'm currently able to connect via my phone, but not my laptop.

We've had a ton of rain today with more coming. Lots of thunder and lightning, but nothing severe. Got lots of work done today. Tomorrow needs to clear up so I can go out and play.

Yeah, we've had 2" already.
Good news is that the severe stuff went south of us, and no problems expected tonight (as originally forecast).  Woot!

Hey Chechem nice fish.
Well today God saved our lives we came off I-20 at Oxford, and went to go toward Anniston for a diabetic pair of shoes the VA was buying for me and the left front tire air valve blew out of the wheel completely. Mrs Dottie was driving cause my back was hurting like crazy for the ride. She was fighting the steering wheel and trying to keep from wrecking and traffic was all around us. Big Trucks like crazy and us in the left lane trying to get across the traffic to the right and nobody was helping. God we are alive. RTR!
