It is 12 here with light snow. Major ice issues after all day rain yesterday. High of 25 today. Due to road conditions HR they told me to tell everyone to stay home. I doubt they needed to be told. They are not stupid. Roads are a mess.

Our low temp over here in Northeast Alabama has been 16 degrees. Yesterday the temps were mid-to-high 30s with lots of rain, hard at times too.  This morning when I got up just after 4 a.m. it was cold and snowing and the flurries haven't really stopped yet.  The accumulations are melting or evaporating even though the temp is currently 19 degrees.  Roads are clear and dry to so it looks like I'll be going to work tomorrow morning after a Dr appointment at 7:00 a.m.

NALT, I got stuck over in the Shoals.   Our temps never got above freezing yesterday, and it was 10 when I woke up.   Still very icy over here, and it has been snowing all day.  The snow hasn't amounted to much.   I believe the roads are a little worse in Huntsville than your neck of the woods too, so you may want to evaluate the situation closer.

You guys be careful. We are expecting some possible freezing rain overnight. I really hope that doesn't happen. Snow is one thing but nobody can drive on ice. The 'check engine' light came on in my truck yesterday and I'm scheduled to take it to the dealer first thing in the morning.

I do believe Mother Nature is bi-polar and off her meds.

Lauderdale Co (Florence area) is still pretty icy, but I'm going to attempt the trek back to Huntsville today.   Once I get out to US72 (about 5 miles), things should be fine.

ZERO problems driving in this morning.  Hope your trek back to Huntsville is/was safe and without incident.

Our Bible class for tonight has been pushed to virtual (streaming online) thanks to another round of winter storms rolling through tonight. 

@ 2stater, how can Chech "go crazy" if he's already there?   Huh?  Asking for a friend...
