Is it all down hill at 36?

Turned 36 today and I wanted to ask all of those here that are MUCH older than me (you know who you are    ) if it is all down hill from here, or do I have a few more years?

Just joking with you a little. I wish I could turn the clock back to 36 years old again and know what I know now. Hope you have many more and enjoy them as much as this one.

Absolutely not, you've got many more years of exciting time ahead of you.  Heck, I was told life begins agt 40.  It just gets better and better.

depends on the definition of downhill ...
body wise ? living wise ?

life begins and the body starts its downward spiral to the hubs of hell ...

life is more enjoyable , the little things start to mean more
you start to appreciate all the things your elders told you 20 years ago 
you start to sound more like your dad and granddad  and even your mom and grandmother
you start wonder how your Dad did it all those years
the years start to get shorter , time will start to fly by like a rocket

the knees start to hurt a little , then the back , acid reflux starts to come around
you look down one day and your belt buckle is gone , oh its there you just don't see it
you start to "eat healthy" and drink more water , less beer but still no buckle in sight (use mirror)
a nap all of a sudden seems like a great idea
the cold and the heat that you never noticed before are becoming your worst enemy

then you hit 40 it gets worse 
then 50 it gets way worse and think your rectum has become the doctors play ground
and then by 55 you start to wish you were never born

One thing I remember about aging comes from the movie "City Slickers," when Billy Crystal is talking to his son's class:

Value this time in your life kids, because this is the time in your life when you still have your choices, and it goes by so quickly.
When you're a teenager you think you can do anything, and you do.
Your twenties are a blur.
Your thirties, you raise your family, you make a little money and you think to yourself, "What happended to my twenties?"
Your forties, you grow a little pot belly you grow another chin. The music starts to get too loud and one of your old girlfriends from highschool becomes a grandmother.
Your fifties you have a minor surgery. You'll call it a procedure, but it's a surgery.
Your sixties you have a major surgery, the music is still loud but it doesn't matter because you can't hear it anyway.
Seventies, you and the wife retire to Fort Lauderdale, you start eating dinner at two, lunch around ten, breakfast the night before. And you spend most of your time wandering around malls looking for the ultimate in soft yogurt and muttering "how come the kids don't call?"
By your eighties, you've had a major stroke, and you end up babbling to some Jamaican nurse who your wife can't stand but who you call mama. Any questions?
