I just ordered a bull barrel for my Ruger 10 22, got the threaded one with a compensator, had to order a new stock too.  I went all black.  Should be pretty pimp.  I have a 100 yard range setup in the back yard.

Before upgrading, I can put 25 shots in a 6" target from 100 yards in about 8 seconds.

so are you a gun expert?  I want to apply for a concealed weapon license (I live in Florida). I am trying to figure out what small handgun would be best to have. Any ideas?  I'm not looking for a REAL expensive one.

No, not an expert.  But I do have an opinion.  For a lady I would suggest a .38 revolver.   They are going to start around 350 for a Taurus and then go up from there.  You should look in pawn shops.  Make sure you are comfortable pulling the trigger or you can get them to make it more sensitive for you.

I'd recommend the Ruger LCP (first pic below) or a Smith & Wesson 642 (second pic).  The Ruger is a .380 semi-auto and the S&W is a .38 special revolver.  Both great for women!

My wife has shot the Ruger and actually liked it, which was a shock.  And, it's very light and I've found perfect for concealed carry.

Use loctite when installing new barrels. I dont understand why that was not in the instructions.  I got it worked out.

Yeah, but it was all over the pacle and so i pulled it back apart and found the allen bolts loose.  I added some loctite and will try again tomorrow.
