Quote
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - One week into the postseason, only three SEC basketball coaches are still coaching.

John Calipari and Billy Donovan are halfway home to the Final Four in Houston. Anthony Grant is two wins away from a different final four in New York.

Not getting a shot to play in the NCAA Tournament, despite winning 12 conference games and the SEC West title, means the Alabama coach has a job to do beyond getting his team ready for Monday's second-round NIT visit from New Mexico and putting the finishing touches on a promising recruiting class.

This is a volunteer task, but it's the perfect job for a strong and quiet leader who does his best work where it counts, away from the cameras, behind the scenes.

There's no basketball coach in the conference in a better position to lead an off-season crusade whose time is coming.

Abolish the divisions. Make SEC basketball one big, unruly family again.

This whole snub thing just sticks in my craw. I haven't watched one single tourney game, but have watched every NIT game that I've been able to.

You're missing some good games and only hurting yourself.  The NCAA is unaware of your boycott.  Just sayin'

Keep mulling our business around in your head.  You sound like you have a good sense for it.  BTW, I am open to other ideas as well, although I know nothing about marketing.

BTW, I am a licensed professional geologist.  I enjoy geology immensly, with a client I would love to still do it.  But I hate the corporate BS and the big scam.

I do. I'm running scenerios through my head regularly. If you say there is a market for this where you live, I believe it. I'm taking a couple of weeks off to finish my honey-do list here in P'cola. After that, I'd like to get with you and discuss this further. I'm definitely interested in making this go.

Sounds good.  The plan is the key.

BTW, I am playing around with re-sizing that huge photo, do not be alarmed.

Yeah, I am totally confused by the resizing.  Usually it would automatically resize it, but it didnt, so once I manually did it I lost the aspect ratio and now it's auto resizing, lol.  I'll try and make it look as normal as possible and leave it alone.
