Good read, but I think we knew most of this.

With Mark Barron, Robert Lester, Dee Milliner and Dre Kirkpatrick returning, we're gonna be Awesome in the BF...

I look for DeQuan Menzie, to make a solid contribution as well...

Oops, forgot about Robby Green and Will Lowery. Could see some stiff competition there as well.

Hopefully with a year of experience, they will not make the same mistakes as they did last year.  It really hurt in the LSU game.

E-cred to your first post. So you are blaming the IB pass defense problems on injury?

I do believe MB was in position to make the play and then realized the could not get his arm up to knock the ball away.  In the LSU game, there were coverage problems as well as a key play before half time when Bama could have held LSU and made them punt.  However, the corner came inside and knocked the defensive player out of the way which allowed the running back to get a first down.

Thanks for the insight, HSCoach.  Barron should be a star next year.  He had a lot on his shoulders this year, especially after all of the injuries to DBs.

Opposing QBs started the season throwing away from MB and picking on Robert Lester. No more.

True.  This year it should be fun to watch them work.  Experience should heal many woes.

Barring some major injury bug, we should have a better push by the D line this year, making the tight coverages more effective.  Without that push early last year, we had a bunch of young DBs chasing.  That doesn't work.

And I'm hoping CNS can spend some time with the DBs working up new coverages instead of just coaching basics (like last year).
