Quote
"One game doesn't define a season," Bielema said. "The Big Ten went, what, 6-6 overall? Obviously, it's not winning, it's not losing, but it's right in the middle. That's not where the Big Ten wants to be. We played some pretty formidable teams. ... It'll be a chance to assess the season at the end of the season and see exactly where we're at."

That's right, coach. Those Beavers are just absolutely TERRIFYING!!!

Clearly they can't beat anyone outside the Big 10.  I guess they envision strengthening their resumes by playing each other.   :dunno:

BINGO!! Plus, they will be playing Akron, Central Michigan, Ohio (Miami), and other non-conference powers. The likes of Michigan & Ohio State will have an easy 10-2 record at the least, then they can brag about "Big Ten football" and how tough their conference is.

Seems there was one season where I noticed Ohio St. didn't leave the state of Ohio until November.

LOL!! Excellent point! The Big Ten has been laughed at for the past 5-7 years and the coaches are getting sensitive about it.

Then we should start calling them "Auburn North".

Why would we call them Oliver North?

Urban Meyer saw it as an excellent place to pad his resume.

ND vs. MSUn should be the Game of the week. Lots of questions will be answered. Is ND back? And, apropos this thread, the implications of MSU going down for the mental health of the Big 10 are huge. If MSU loses the Big 10 will be pretty thoroughly emasculated.

So far removed from the glory days are these schools (ND & Big 10) that they have resigned themselves to the realization that they are over matched. So now these delusional fans have reduced their claims to nefarious reasons why the SEC and CNS are winning. When you transfer your hopes and dreams from on the field heroes to oversign.com you have given up.

Maybe they should change their division names to the losers and the evil-doers
