A one-loss Alabama or LSU wasn't going to jump an undefeated Oklahoma to set up a rematch in New Orleans. But if the winner of the Nov. 5 showdown in T-town doesn't lose afterward, and the loser doesn't lose again, that one-loss team will have a better resume than a one-loss Oklahoma team.

So Nick Saban and Les Miles, who have a little time on their hands this week with both their teams enjoying a bye week, should sit down and write Tuberville a quick thank-you note. Some other dominoes have to fall for Alabama and LSU to play twice this season, but Tubs knocked down the biggest one.

Story of his career. If you have one game to play and no one is giving your team a chance, there's no better coach to have on your sideline than Tuberville. He went above and beyond with Saturday's upset. He made it easier for both Alabama and LSU to win a national championship.

Whoever wins the game on Nov. 5, the last opponent they want to see in the BCSCG is  their SEC West adversary.  Scarbinsky is a moron to think otherwise.  He also is a moron for thinking either Bama or LSU have any feelings for Ears other than abject hatred.  One thing Bama and LSU have in common, which Saban brought with him to Bama, is we both hate the Barn.
