Title: Do any of Alabama Football's SEC opponents have a Coordinator advantage?

Reading this article I feel it gives somewhat false hope. The game played by the players is what makes a scheme work or not work. JMHO. RTR!

Preacher I will disagree slightly.  We need good players to play well on every play.  But players play in the context of the scheme devised by the OC & DC with input from the HC. I think CKD has put together a staff that has the promise to be very good across the board. But they have to prove it in practice and especially in-game. In the SEC, you have to make effective in-game adjustments and you have to make them quickly.  Can't always wait until halftime.

I hope our offensive play design will be much more creative than it has been for the last 10 years.  Maybe longer.   I don't know what our defensive staff will do.  Defense is my biggest worry for next year.  As coach Bryant used to say: You gotta keep from losing before you can win.

I can agree with you to a point that we have to be able to block, tackle and run. The scheme as you say players have to make it work. RTR!
