Quote
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Josh Clemons scored on a 14-yard touchdown run, and Morgan Newton shook off three interceptions in throwing a 31-yard TD pass to La'Rod King in helping the Wildcats beat Western Kentucky 14-3 on Thursday night.

Kentucky had only 75 yards total offense through the first three quarters before Newton drove them 80 yards late in the fourth to put away the victory. The Southeastern Conference team handed Western Kentucky its 16th straight home. The Hilltoppers were the home team in this game played at the home of the NFL's Tennessee Titans.

Sure, the Hilltoppers (what a name - sigh) played well, but KY helped them much.  The KY QB stumbled back regularly, fell down backing once, seemed very nervous, and threw the ball for grabs occasionally.  KY didn't look ready for football last night.  I thought they'd be at least competitive.  Until WKU fumbled and set up an easy TD for KY, the game was all WKU.

That is calling it right. I was pulling for them to beat the viles last November and break that 24 year losing streak. But they failed epically.

They just moved up the year before last I think.  W. Kentucky is a big school and will be one of the better of the "new" teams in a few years.  Their basketball program has been strong for years.

Why do I know about the hilltoppers?  They were in South Alabama's conference when I was in school.

I know them because they have a program in Belize (and look better in swimsuits than in soccer outfits).
