In other regional action:

UCLA has locked up the top spot in the Athens Regional.  UGA and LSU are battling for second and the spot in the NCAA Championships.  UGA has a .850 advantage entering the final rotation, so pencil them in to Indy.

Oklahoma and Washington are the top two in the Norman Regional after all teams have completed 2 rotations.  Oklahoma has a commanding lead, with Washington and Utah neck and neck for the 2nd NCAA spot.

With one rotation complete in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Stanford are in the lead.

You're welcome.

I think the Regional Scores are used to seed the NCAA tournament.  So I'm going to keep track of the high scores from the other regionals.

UCLA had an impressive 197.225
UGA scored 196.750

The live scoring link keeps refreshing to an old meet.  Weird.

Kim Jacob scored 9.8 to start for Alabama.

Ashley Sledge scored 9.85.

Just what we need, each score a little higher.

SuperFreshman Diandra Milliner scores 9.85 for Alabama.

Our total so far is 39.275.  We need to score above 49 in each event, preferably above 39.25 to reach that 197 mark.

Geralen Stack-Eaton scores a 9.85.

Alabama has a 49.125, hopefully it will move up a tenth with Kayla Hoffman's score.

For those of you who don't know, in gymnastics 6 team members complete and the top 5 scores are the ones that count.
