OK...
Efforts to confirm a Watkins injury through UA have not been successful today.
Spoke with a couple of people close to the team today who both said Watkins indeed has injured a knee. To what extent, we won't speculate absent stronger confirmation. Reporting on medical conditions can be dicey, and generally speaking we'll write a news story only with on-the-record confirmation from someone with direct knowledge of the situation. If we're able to get more information confirmed, we'll post a news story. And of course, we'll keep an eye out for him at practice Friday.

I hate it for Alex, but if we were going to lose someone for a season, LB is loaded enough that we can handle it. I hope it's not true, though, for his sake. Plus, it's hard to replace that kind of game experience, no matter how talented the young guys are.

More importantly, not just here because I'm certain this one will be a + for navychief.  But for in the future what should the e-cred stakes be.  This is one of the main reasons I setup the e-cred system.  To reward people who really get the scoop and deter people who just want to poke the gilmers.

Or maybe we should let the OP wager their own e-cred based on how accurate they think their information is.  That certainly has potential.  It would allow people to post things they are not 100% sure about and let everyone who reads it to get a feel for how accurate it is.  Sort of like a numerical based TIFWIW system.  What do you guys think about that?
