While Dye admitted Chizik was not as accomplished on the field as Saban, he said the current Auburn head coach is a "better man" than the Tide head coach.

"Saban is the best coach in the country -- I'll grant him that. But he ain't a better man than Gene Chizik," Dye said.

This might finally be the year we give them the 98-0 beat down I've been longing for.  >:(

This borders on a character insult to CNS.  Even for Dye, that's over the line.  But it's great bulletin board material!!

Let me see, Pat Dye is an old drunk and he quit Auburn because of lying and cheating in recruiting there. And he's questioning the character of Saban.

I just don't understand how anyone could say that someone connected with scam newton is a better man. Besides that, who is dye to judge anyone?

Pat Dye would be wise to emulate Coach Gene Stallings.

Coach Stallings would do anything in the world to help Alabama if asked. Until that time he keeps his distance. When he goes on a radio show (like Finebaum) or is a guest speaker at an event he promotes Alabama in a very positive way without being an "insider".

Pat Dye has worked his way back into the barn football program. He is a "has been" and constantly embarasses the barn program. To everyone outside of the barn he has become a joke.

BTW, he needs to call Lake Martin lost and found. They found his pants.

A man is known by his actions....that says a lot about Pat Dye.

Pat Dye isn't worthy to tie the shoe laces of Coach Stallings or CNS.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! >:(

I can not remember anything Pat Dye won. I can not remember any great deed to set him apart for his own legacy. Maybe I can't remember because he hasn't. RTR!

These are the ramblings of an old man who is no longer (if he was ever) relevant to college football, trying desperately to promote that pathetic excuse for a football program down in the pastures of Lee County. Pat, go find your pants, buy another bottle of Old Grandad, go home and watch replays of all the great tie games you were involved in.
