Good morning.

The rain has finally ended.  And yesterday the south wind warmed us to 60 degrees.

Today we eat POUND CAKE!!  

I forgot to mention the WHITE DEER.
While driving along I-64 east of Charlottesville on Wednesday my BIL yelled, "LOOK".  I looked at the road sign where he pointed, which directed me to 'move my damaged car to the shoulder', but he said, "NO, THE DEER".  I missed it.  He'd seen an albino deer.  It was just before dark.  Apparently others saw it too that day.  Cool.

I remember that day.  I made it up Green Mountain, to the Nature Trail in Huntsville, and took photos of the snow around the lake, the Canadian Geese in the snow.  I was the only one there that morning (I had to hike in).

Chech, I'm sorry you missed that albino deer too. That would have been a great pic if you could have gotten one. I have a pic of a 3 legged doe that I took at Richard B Russell State Park near Elberton, Ga, when I was on a golf trip. I'll try to dig that up and post it.

SC is falling down on the job with the pickem updates. We had 2 games yesterday. Fl International beat Toledo 35-32, and BYU stomped Western Mich, 49-18. Yours truly was ignored by the pickems god and got both picks right.

It was good to see Bama beat PSU last night, as ugly as it was. It breaks my heart that we don't have any ball handlers on the team, and we are still weak on D except for Herb Jones. PSU hammered us down low all night until the end. I just can't figure that out. On the bright side; D Hall has come back to life. That's a good thing because we need him.

Good morning folks.  Beautiful but very cold morning here.  31 degrees.  I went for a 3 mile walk through the neighborhood and it was cold but the time alone was worth it.  We are meeting Dad and Mrs. Barbara and both of their families for breakfast this morning.  Looking forward to putting back on those calories I just burned off...

No white deer yesterday; stayed home all day.  Rain may return today.

No plans to get out today unless my BIL needs help at his farm.  Nice out there in the wilds.  He hopes to cut down a few dead pines today if it's dry enough.
