This is what I keep emphasizing to the fans over the years. Football is a game, period. What really matters is our family & friends, country, and our relationship with God.  :BigEyeRoll: It is not inconceivable that you would have this reaction to the post you quoted. But why would you imagine that anyone else would care about that? Truly. I was wondering what on the list of: Family, Friends, Country, and especially our relationship with God is less important than a football game. My prayers will be with this family during such a tragic loss. I am the parent of a 15 year old and I can only imagine their pain. |

Had to share this. Returned last night from the WV state youth convention. We had 17 from our congregation down in Charleston for a good weekend of worship and preaching. First I must say, praise the Lord because I survived yet another convention! LOL. This Monday morning, I feel far too old to 'hang' with youth!
Seriously, on Saturday night, we had three youth who stepped forward saying that they felt called into ministry in some manner. It is good to see the Lord working in the hearts and lives of young people! Praise the Lord!

Let us continue to pray for our nation and our leaders. Yes, even the leaders that we might not have supported. They all NEED the Lord's wisdom and guidance in governing. And honestly, through repentance and cleansed hearts is the only way to real change in this country.

If you look on the right side of the page you will see a box that has the next game. There is an online radio link in the bottom part of that box. They are usually a good 15 to 30 seconds behind the TV broadcast, so I just pause the game on my DVR until I get Eli in synch with the TV. You may have to adjust it a little after they come back from a commercial. Sometimes they adjust their delay up or down a little to fit the time they have in the commercial break.
