Hi, it's Ms Leroy , sorry I haven't gotten back about the services for Leroy. The day after he died , we had finished his obits and his sisters informed me that I had to be moved out of the family home by Jan. 9th and they are trying to take me to court because there wasn't a will to see what of Leroy's belongings I am Intitled too. Leroy always wanted to be buried in Jasper close to his dad but the family told me there wasn't any place for him, I then decided to have him cremated and have his remains taken to be laid to rest next to his dad. Leroy thought the world of you guys . The is a nice article in the local paper about his love for Bama football. Y'all can read it online and his obit also. It's The post-searchlight.com in the obits. Hope y'all have a Merry Christmas and a happy New year !

Just wanted to ley everyone know, Neil aka Leroy passed away today. Thank you all for everything you did to make him smile and the last thing he said that we could understand was ROLL TIDE

Hi everyone, it's ms Leroy.  Just wanted to give y'all an update on Leroy. He's at the point now that he doesn't know what's going on most of the time., sleeps alot. He slept thru most of the game , what he did see he made the comment, " I don't know what's going on but this ain't much of a game " lol. He doesn't seem to be in much pain , just slipping away. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving ! God bless y'all !

It sure is a beautiful third Saturday in October day here in sowega....and it's Game Day 

I've had a tough month since my surgery but I seem to be on a slight upswing now.  No fluid has been collecting in my drain tube and the x-rays didn't show and fluid so they took the drain pipe out on Monday.  The pain and soreness from that has been very hard but your prayers and Our God has brought me through it.


Jamos, tell Coach Saban I'm ready to go today

I too hope I've been on the mend...LOL.

Still getting used to this new chest drain tube and still sleeping a lot and having to take too many pain meds in order to be able to do anything while getting healed up from the last procedure...still hoping the talc procedure will last and the tube will come out.  Not eating much...I've now lost 60 lbs since I was diagnosed on 9/28/11...10 of that in the last week.  Bowel movements are the biggest events of the day around here now whenever one happens.

I need to be fishing...still too weak for that...

better days coming

I came home from the hospital yesterday.  The doc said he wasn't all that sure the talc procedure was going to be effective but he left a permanent drain tube in place so at least it is supposed to be easier to drain if it is needed or removed in a couple of weeks if the talc works...I'm not gonna lie, this has been a tough last few days for me and I haven't felt well enough to read through all I've missed on here but I've read many many supportive and positive comments on here and they truly do lift my heart...

I LOVE YOU GUYS

I don't think I'm going to be able to help much today coach but I'll be ready to roll full speed by next weekend.  I reckon I better go get horizontal now and I'll check back in on y'all later.
