 :wall:

This is a huge loss for the team along with Josh McMillian
I guess Shane Lee will have to step up now.

Talk about being thin at LB.

If it makes you feel any better, look at Duke's injury report.  They lost LBs and a QB.

Did they lose an All American linebacker and projected 1st round NFL Draft pick?

Football players are bigger and stronger than ever. When one player hits another player, or said player makes an awkward cut, or a big ugly rolls up on the back of his foot or leg; knee and ankle injuries happen. The human joints can't take the physical punishment that the rest of the body can.

The training room bulks up the body, but has minimal affect on joints. They still have to bend the right way, or you get what we've had in the off-season.

We are a deep team, but once again, we've lost a lot of starters in key positions. Finebaum called Moses' injury a devastating blow to Bama's Natty chances. Maybe.

I don't know if Duke will be a proper measuring stick as to how we'll perform, but I, for one, can't wait for them to hit the field so we can see what we have and how they do.

Hoping for the best.

You have to wonder about the Bama practice methods. This seems to happen too often to Alabama. Maybe it just seems that way since I’m a Tide fan but I really think there could be a problem with our practice sessions.

Not sure I agree.  Practice injuries occur everywhere and at every position.  This one is bad for the young man and the team.  If Mack Wilson hadn't declared for the draft (appears to have been a good choice) this might have been him and we'd still have Moses.  Stuff happens in football.  I'm REALLY sorry for Dylan but look forward to the next man up!  ROLL TIDE!!!!

The two freshmen players that will be starting at ILB are good.  If they weren't they wouldn't be on scholarship at Bama.  They have the skills needed to be in that position but perhaps not the experience.  The learning curve is going to be steep but not impossible.  Fortunately they have two "light weight" games to begin the season so they can get their legs under them so that when the heart of the schedule gets here they will hopefully be better able to perform to the standards that Coach Saban expects.
