So, can you tell us anything about Jesse at fullback?  That was pretty cool even though he went the wrong way.

Interesting thing about that was he had a little knee stinger he thought (I thought his tape ripped off lol) and walked over & sat on the table & Jesse heard the O play, but in the headphones to Saban Nuss was asking "Is Jesse on the table? Put in AT - Alphonse Taylor" and Saban was walking over ABOUT to say instead of Jesse, next thing you know he hops off the table and is in there, but yeah got so excited forgot the call was left lol, but to his credit MOST reps this week of that play on offense WERE to the other side

one of the opposing coaches said DJ was tipping the plays
that was a set up wasn't it ?

Milliner or Fulton Saturday?

Milliner is feeling better this week so he'll see some PT, likely a lot more of Fulton and Geno who is really developing nicely as well, also expect to see more of LC in at star, he's still learning a bit

HCD might get pulled pretty early, he's been absolutely BALLIN reminds me in coverage of the way a young Ed Reed patroled Miami backfield

Also see a lot more of Dee & Drake this we, Drake and TJ are gonna be a special combo, then add to that this year's RB's Tyren Jones (TOP TRUE RB in the country to our staff), Altee (physical freak), and this week's visitor & Bama's next commit Derrick Henry who's 6'3 245 running a 4.5 & fresh off a 500+ yd 6 TD game this past week

What that coach wasn't asked by media is "Could you stop it?"  these coaches are ALL trying their hardest to figure out an upper hand on Bama this year & the team is a lot more balanced than we have been & DJ doesn't tip off guys that was pretty laughable

Lol it was discussed by some of the players, also that poor DL from FAU saying Bama was beatable etc was discussed

Saban was definitely coaching younger guys which causes him to yell more, but think about why? We have been up a few TDs quickly EVERY week so far, the starters even 2nd string has a lot of really good leadership

Worst bless out last week was directed at Blake Sims for not handing off the ball for what would've been a couple yd loss lol and reading the play right allowing him to run a TD lol but Saban was pissed since he didn't want to score again, but Sims play was a read and he read the DE perfectly lol

Coaches/players pulling their hair out on helmet to helmet, horse collar, above the shoulders, etc. Also the late hit called on VS was questionable-- hard to play with enthusiasm these days?

Lacey is still struggling now more with trusting weight on his foot after having a pretty bad turf toe issue requiring surgery offseason, Burns tried a diff approach this past week with weight tests and cutting etc and it had a better result as you could see last Sat

RR?  :dunno:

Yah we thought that was bogus but sadly College is getting more and more like NFL where the QBs are UBER-protected but it is getting tougher and if the QB is planted at all it's gonna be a penalty

But it's not tough because we teach execution cleanly and we believe that cuts down, think about how many helmets bama players rip off or some knack on D like slinging etc, just square up and tackle efficiently & effectively & if a penalty is called on that it won't happen again or we'll coach you out of the bad habits

Yeah, I knew about the surgery and all. His rehab. But I was hoping that was over and heard it may be an ankle that was bothering him some now. I guess it's good he doesn't have 2 issues. Especially 2 slow healers-- turf toe AND high ankle. I hope to see him full speed.

Sorry late lol yeah he's not full speed sat out some this week with pains in his leg, should be ok, we'll see a lot of time from Devall (another beast, told y'all he looked to us like Hightower, what y'all think of what you've seen of him so far?)

SUPERCOACH caught one from the Arky game where our RB led with his helmet. Broken neck in the making. I bet ya'll saw it on film. Forget who-- maybe Lacey.

XD's backup? Yeah-- all the LBs-- they seem to be 30 deep. How did Ivory grade when JW was out?

It was Fowler, he was reprimanded, still learning some of RB position, but he is a bit reckless

yah he's #30 got a couple sacks & TFL's

Ivory has played a whole lot better this yr than last, held up to the point of attack, still getting footwork in line, wouldn't be surprised though sadly & honestly to see Darren Lake jump him after JW graduates, he is still not clicking with it, reminds me more of a Wallace Gilberry type 4 man DT technique guy

Can Ely take over in a game manager role if something happened to AJ?

He would have a very short leash...honestly we would probably end up pulling the RS off Alec just to see what he could do in a game situation if it was a meaningful game, but AJ is an extremely durable, tough kid, reads pressures and makes adjustments well in the pocket and basically stays out of trouble to stay healthy <knock on wood>

thx guys just tough to find the time to post

Alec gets lots of weekly reps and is almost every SEC QB on scout team. Sims was DR for Mich game, but a downfield more accurate passing attack QB is gonna be Morris all day

Good game. RTR Odd we were just talking about Ivory and Darren Lake. Guess we'll see more of him now.
