Title: "Who replaces LaBryan Ray?"
Post by: Chechem on September 17, 2019, 06:08:12 AM
The cupboard isn't empty, but it's almost empty.

The player who replaced Ray during the game Saturday was true freshman, Justin Eboigbe. Eboigbe is coming off a less severe injury and saw his first game action against South Carolina. Other inexperienced players expected to gain more playing time in the Tide’s rotation are Christian Barmore, Byron Young and Phidarian Mathis. Barmore will not be available for the first half against Southern Mississippi after a late-game targeting penalty against the Gamecocks.

We may need to check the Transfer Portals for candidates!   :dunno:

I still don't believe Barmore should have been charged with targeting. He met the man face to face but he didn't charge or look to injure the man. RTR!

Maybe not, but Kaho prolly should have been.  He had a late hit that looked like targeting on one of the final plays.  Fortunately he wasn't flagged.

Yes sir I saw that and wondered how he got by when Barmore didn't. The thought did occur to me the Ref's knew they made a bad call on Barmore so they let Kaho slide. RTR!
