A British newspaper today has an article on "How to work at home and not get divorced."

They actually paid someone to write that?  Any one of us (well almost  ) could have done it...

I thought it was tongue-in-cheek, but it sounds serious.

Well everybody have fun today. I think this virus thing has gotten really bad. Last night at a small gathering people were bumping elbows. This was funny to me. RTR!

I already miss P'cola. it's 49 degrees and raining here. When we got here yesterday it was 52 degrees. It was 80 in P'cola.

 Sad

If it makes you feel better, we had about the same weather.  When you traveled last Thursday it was warm here (70s), then yesterday it never got over 54.

But I miss Pensacola too.  I'd go sit on the beach, but I don't want to stay at a motel or sit in a bar.   Sad
My buddy in Pensacola (you and 2 met him when I was down there fishing with y'all) said that the water temps is already up to 70 degrees so the Cobia should start running soon.  I bet the Pompano are already running up onto the sand looking for us...

Well, not really.  At least for you, Chech, or me...   They probably get a lot of good laughs at our expense...

I do think the 'Fireball' makes them a little nervous, though.

LF and I went out to town:

1.  She had library books to return to public library.  Sign on the return box said, "No books will be due until May 2".
2.  Went to the post office to mail packages; no problem.
3.  The bars in Oxford are all open and thriving.  Students all over.
4.  We went to Kroger, got some meds and supplies.  No crowd, but plenty of the patrons were students buying drinks and snacks (party food).  Checkout lady said the line was crazy at 6am today.

DON'T THESE KIDS HAVE PARENTS??  GO HOME!

Of course they have parents.  Who do you think was standing in line at 6:00 a.m.?

Well, the city leaders are meeting tonight to vote on closing the bars and restaurants.  Prolly will, but many of those on the board are owners of the bars and restaurants!

Wouldn't people going to bars be the safest since they go there to drink alcohol?  I mean, hand sanitizer is made with 70% alcohol.  The only difference is they would be treating from the inside instead of outside.  Seems logical...

Besides, it takes 90% alcohol to kill virus.   Lips Sealed

All bars and restaurants are closed here. I went to the grocery store after work. It was post-apocalyptic. Shelves of many products, including meat and produce, were empty. I did find a couple of ribeye steaks and I cooked them on the grill.

I'm wondering when we're supposed to dress like the people in 'Mad Max'?
