Title: Happy Fathers Day
Post by: 2Stater on June 18, 2011, 09:38:20 PM
I'll start this thread early as my oldest daughter is taking me deep sea fishing early tomorrow. Happy Fathers Day to all you Dads. Life changes when you have kids and all you can do is your best to raise them. I have 3 great daughters, all Bama fans, that I'm very proud of and they've made me feel special today. Since I'm fishing tomorrow, they wanted to celebrate today. I hope tomorrow that your children honor you all as they should. Again, Happy Fathers Day guys.

Careful, 2. Is it possible they already have a criminal attorney that may have advised them to get recent "I Luv Daddy" photos to sway a jury in the upcoming  "Who shot 2S" trial? Just trying to be helpful.

I hope 2 has been a good Dad. This could be a set up for a tragic man over board accident.  :o

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's.
Back at ya! I don't have the parental skills of a jackal, but I'll still get a steak out of it.

His post may be exhibit A. I guess that'll make the CRS HOF.

I told my wife yesterday that I may not be a great Father but I am here and I try. Unfortunately, there are a lot of Fathers that are MIA.

Happy Father's Day from this father to all the other fathers here at CRS. And much love most of all to our Supreme Father in Heaven.

My ode to fathers from the words of that great philosopher Jerry Seinfeld:

"All fathers are intimidating. They're intimidating because they are fathers. Once a man has children, for the rest of his life, his attitude is, "To hell with the world, I can make my own people. I'll eat whatever I want. I'll wear whatever I want, and I'll create whoever I want."

No man overboard today, but it was a rough trip. 4-6 ft swells and higher at times. The captain couldn't keep the boat still and most of the event involved untangling lines. My daughter kicked my azz and caught 3 huge Red Snappers to my 1. We both quit fishing early due to exhaustion from catching other people. It was still a great gift from her, though. Hope all you Dads had a good one. WV, how was your steak?

Saw a tweet earlier that wished a happy fathers day to all the mothers who had to "go it alone." Thought that was pretty nice to remember to remember them too."

Huge disparity between $ spent on Mom and $ spent on poor ol' Dad. Evidently, lazing around the house in fluffy slippers, eating bon-bons and watching TV is appreciated more than doing real work.

OOOPS! Busted. I have to get off the internet now, -- see y'all tomorrow. :'(

If they had to fill both jobs, they should get both days...
