It's usually a good sign when he goes off like this.  I think if fires up all the coaches and they work harder in practice.  It also fires up the players as they know Coach has their back and they go at it with a little chip-on-shoulder complex.

If I were Arky, I'd see this and go....."Oh ssssssugar!"

He went off on them last year after the 1 point Arkansas win.  Lest anyone forget, the next game afterwards was a 59 to nothing beat down of aTm.

Looks like I might have come in second.  Not bad for an over the top joke pick.  :lol2:

Brings up a point.
Does anybody know if we have rules on determining who wins the score picks?
Is the winner the person with the prediction having the lowest overall difference, being the sum of differences?
Not that I'll win, but I'd like to know how we decide.  Lowest overall difference could end in a tie, even when one person picked the exact score of one team and the other did not.

I have no idea.  I think Smitty was always in charge of that.  It only comes into play 14, maybe 15 times a year with a 98 to nothing weekly prediction.  :dunno:

Yes, this is the rule, with the caveat that you have to get the correct winner.

 :worship: :worship:

So all we need to do, really, is pick the spread correctly.  Right?
e.g., I'll predict we beat Arky 16-0.

I understand the difference, but wish there were a better way to reward those who pick one team's exact score.

That a better way to emphasize it?  Sorry.   :-[
