I haven't looked lately, Preacher, but we were #1 in all services last week. The only kid we lost was the JUCO DL, and he had been downgraded to a 3*.

Excellent.  I ate 2 bowls of it. 

And I slept like a baby ...

awoke every 2 hours and cried.   

No, actually it was indeed delicious.  And I slept well.
My uncle once won a chili contest in California.  LF and I tried his award-winning recipe a while back.  We both like YOUR recipe better, plus yours is much easier to prepare.  THANKS!

We should get word about a recruit today or tomorrow.  Otherwise, it remains quiet. 

Speaking of such, word on the Ole Miss campus is DEPRESSION.  OM is currently ranked among the lesser teams in recruiting, and has hardly gotten any worthy commitments.  The OM fans are getting antsy.  Pretty sure the rodent will suffer.

As we all well know, nobody wants to come to a program with a cloud hanging over them. OM will have some dark years coming up with sanctions looming. All signs point to them getting hit hard. The longer this stretches out, the worse it is for them.

Well it 38 here this morning as so says the weather channel site. I haven't been out side but I know it's cold in the house. Today just hoping for some normalcy to the weather and getting ready for tomorrow. I hope everybody stays warm and has a Blessed day. Smile it don't hurt a bit. RTR!

Morning, all. 

It's chilly again; into the 30s already and dropping.  High today in the 40s.

Yesterday I did some garage work; built an area to store my float boat.  I added a shelf above it for storing accessories.  Needs to be painted, then I'm done.


Lots of discussion about our newest recruit (kicker).  There will be a battle to see which of the kickers wins the field-goal position.  Should be interesting.  Reminds me of Coach Stallings:

Early in fall camp one year, we had a few walkon kickers doing their thing on one end of the field. One guy had been hitting when pretty well when Stalling came up to watch a few kicks. The kid immediately started to miss. After a few, he says, “Sorry coach, I get nervous with you watching.” Stallings replied, “Well son, I plan on being at all the games.”
