I received this email from a friend today:

Quote
Hi friends, some of you have heard me speak of my nephew, Carson Tinker. Carson is the long snapper at Alabama, and he was injured in the April tornadoes and his girlfriend was killed. Tonight on ESPN, there is an awards show. Alabama was chosen to receive the Spirit Award, which is given to teams or individuals who have overcome adversity to inspire others and be an example. The team was chosen because after the tornado, the football players went out  to look for victims, and because of their efforts in the clean up afterwards. The team chose Carson to go to Orlando and receive the award for the team. I thought those of you who are football fans might enjoy watching this. The link is below-of course, there will be many other awards given!

TR was asked what Alabama would do differently this time to beat LSU.

He said, "FINISH. We need to finish drives, and not put pressure on the kicking game.  We left a lot of points on the field."

Then he grinned and said, "And stay away from that Honey Badger."  They all laughed.
