Title: No love for BB on this forum?
Post by: BAMAWV on March 02, 2011, 02:04:01 PM
Maybe I'm missing the BB discussion board but if this is it--shame on ya'll.

I'll start. UGA played UF into double OT the first time and stayed close until around the 8 minutes remaining mark in the second game this season. They are also a good team. They play a similar style as the Tide and we have hade problems with teams like that (Ole Miss last week).

I think you will find my B-cred > my E-cred. SIAP 8)

Well know there are some BB threads but they are all in the one Quad thread right now. It has not actually been divided up but it is great you brought one here. I think we beat GA. I think we go deep in the SEC tourney and make the 64 field brackets. RTR!

I keep hoping to see some production from Davis, but Releford is coming into his own and improving every game. I also think this team rises up to beat UGA and if Vandy shoots on Saturday the way they are capable, UF may lose.

This is what we need. Either that looses doesn't help us between Vandy vs Fla. We just have to beat Ga period. RTR!

Hello WV,

1. Until we learn to handle the zone D, we're in trouble.  As everyone knows, best way to beat it is shoot 3's (exactly what Florida did when we tried a zone to protect our players with fouls).

2. We had some good moves to get the ball inside against the zone against UF, driving the baseline and passing behind the net.  That stopped when UF tightened the zone with that whale at center.

3. We have a good D.  Our players work hard.  I think they're wearing down by 2nd half.  We had nothing left for the full-court press when it became obvious that we had no answer for the half-court game.

4. We've got to find a way to play better early in each half.  It's nuts.

5. anybody...

I'm certainly no expert, but this looks spot on to me.  I am very excited to see what Releford does over the next few years.

Sorry about that.  We are still trying to get organized.  We only had the Quad board until recently.

One idea is to post pretty much everything on the Quad and then use Bryant-Denny and Coleman for in game threads, to sort of mimic the on campus experience.  But we're still mulling things over.  Post wherever you want for now.

Supercoach:

I like the idea of BB and football being on the Quad site. Even the other sports like baseball, gymnastics, etc. It's easier to see everything that's being posted, instead of going back and forth between sites.

Yep, I agree with that.  In the end we might have just the Quad.  If we have other boards it needs to be very well defined as to what goes there, which is why I was thinking about putting just the in game threads there.

That is a Super job so far. I love BB, and I really enjoy watching now. RTR!
