In what was just a line item in CBS’s Mike Freeman’s latest column, a significant portion of the Browns brass appears ready to not only move on from Hillis, but replace him with Trent Richardson, the highly-touted running back out of Alabama.

 Pray Please, not the Browns.

The greatest RB ever in the NFL, Barry Sanders, spent his days at the Detroit Lions.  That didn't keep him from making a name for himself.  Walter Payton was drafted by a Bears team with a losing record but put up big numbers anyway.  While the Browns have a long history of mediocrity, that won't prevent Richardson from having success.

But the Browns suck so bad, we'll never see him on TV.  Sad

There's also the added dimension of him having to play with Cote. Imagine that conversation: "Hey Cote. Remember how Dareus made your a$$ quit two years ago, and me and HTWMI ran all over your defense? Yeah, that was a good day." TR might not get another carry after that.  Cheesy

Colt would probably say, "yes sir."

He might add, "maybe now I can throw the ball because they'll have to stuff the line to stop you."

The thing with Richardson is, he may not fill the top need for every team at the top of a draft, especially with the NFL becoming more of a passing league, but I don't think ANY team expects him to be a bust.  You know what you're getting with him, and that's an extremely physically gifted athlete with a tireless work ethic.
