This morning's best trout slipped from my grip before I could get a good pic.  Here's what I got:

Nice fish, Chech! I just read where a guy from Bonita Springs caught a world record Black Grouper weighing over 124 lbs., off the coast of Pensacola Beach.

Dang, that's one less for us to catch when I visit!

Tonight I arrived at the river just before a huge storm hit. 
Never missing opportunity, I took pics.  Here ya go:

Will be on the road to SC today and will be there for over 2 weeks. All business, so I won't be on here too much. Y'all keep 'em straight up thar!

Yeah, 2, I posted a morning fish pic for Monday.

This morning was good.  I caught several trout right away, but lost one on a broken line.     The line broke at the double-surgeon knot.     Never had that before.

I had a standoff about noon.  This guy wanted the river bank, right where I wanted to fish.



Since he had the wife and kids with him, I yielded.

Man, thank you so much. The pics of the buffalo are absolutely grand. They almost got wiped out but to see them coming back. You have to think, if it wasn't for the buffalo Indians might not have made here as long as they did. Great job and God Bless you and the family on vacation. RTR!

BTW, it's my back, and it's aching every day.  Too much time on my feet (16-hour days).  I'm wearing a brace.

I caught 2 big Brown Trout between rain showers this afternoon (and evening). 
I wasn't wearing the GoPro for the biggest (can't with a raincoat), but here's 2nd place:

Even the fish are pretty up there. I bet they taste wonderful. Take my advice, don't overdo it with your back. I'm paying the price, right now, for doing just that.

Man, they turned up the heat here in Greenville, SC. It was 97 degrees when I rolled in yesterday afternoon. I don't think it's been in the 90's in P'cola, so far this year.
