Last night before I went to bed I was about as close to Heaven as I could get.  On one channel I was watching the 2016 SECC game of Florida vs. Bama and on another channel I was watching the 2016 LSU/Bama game.   

I hear ya, NALT. I watched the Ala-UF game, followed by the Ala-Ole Miss game. I'm chomping at the bit for the season to start.

Good morning! Got awakened by a thunder boomer a bit ago. Was shaking the whole house. Figured I would go ahead and get up. Another day where rain chances are good.

I heard from Chech last night and they are making their way back to mainstream America.

We are somewhere east of Albuquerque NM this morning. Had a good visit to Mesa Verde NP yesterday. Hot there too, but was hotter (106) at Arches NP the day before.

 LF and I did a rescue yesterday. A young woman was sitting with a friend alongside the road in the park. She had a wet towel over her head. I asked if she'd been vomiting, and they said yes, so we drove to find a Ranger: heat stroke. The Ranger raced to her.

We saw lots of critters along the road yesterday, but not the roadrunner that LF hoped to see. Maybe today!

Good morning folks.  Day three with no rain...    Really proud of you Chech for helping out that lady. She has you to thank for saving her life. If not for your actions who knows if someone else would have stepped up and did what needed to be done for her.

There is always more to Alabama fans than meets the eye. Well done Chechem. Glad your getting back where there is no snow but will you be fishing in the southern parts along the way?
Mrs Dottie got up this morning sore with some pain but near as bad as it has been. The doctor said they are sending her to Pain Management for a while and rehab still. Just looking forward to seeing football again. RTR!

It's pouring down rain again here and is interfering with my daily walk. 

It will be like a sauna now, when I finally get to take it.

The last 2 nights, a buddy of mine and I went to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos minor league baseball games. They played the Chattanooga Lookouts. Both teams won their respective divisions in the first half of the season. Nooga was 14-3 to start the 2nd half and P'cola was 8-9. In both games, P'cola came from behind late to win them both.

The P'cola pitcher last night struck out 9 of the first 10 batters he faced. He gave up a home run in the 6th which held up until P'cola scored 4 in the bottom of the 8th to win 4-1.

The night before, they were down 2-0 late, but won on a 3 run HR in the bottom of the 7th that held up.

I don't know if both were really great games or I was just really happy to get out of the house. Whichever, I'll take it.

Good morning folks.  No rain here...yet.  Possibility of some scattered storms the next few days but I'm hoping they miss where I will be.  Sounds like a couple of really good games 2.  I'm trying to find a time that I can take my youngest to a Braves' game in Atlanta.
