Sounds like they got caught in lies as well as assault.  That'll get you booted off the team (and jailed).

Well even in LA. they are still innocent until proved guilty. I do however think they have hurt their team greatly just for their own selfish interests. I see what goes on and it makes me so proud of CNS and his program. RTR!

It shows that star ratings and athletic talent don't amount to a hill of beans in the long run unless you got the character to go with it.

So are we to believe the "Hat" will suspend these thugs for the season?  HA!  He ain't that stupid. He will need some "motivation".

Here is the perfect opportunity for the president of LSU to step in and show his peers across the country how to start getting rid of the stink in college FB.

NCAA has said more than once the buck stops with the leaders of the universities..so, gotta start somewhere.

Now, that being said, I am in favor of giving young men who do stupid stuff a "second chance", but I am not sure when they will be convicted of crimes..besides, they were supposed to be team leaders, were out after curfew, were in a bar (underage?), fighting, plus just plain dumb.

I think it sure would send a message to the rest of the Who's that it ain't smart to be stupid.

There's money to be made here.  I'd take the "suspended indefinitely" option (via Les) on JJ.
You really think Les won't do it (and very soon)?

So... I should have said, "SIAP"?  Sorry.

I'm great at predicting the future after the fact.

No, that's fine,  it is not posted. I saw Stewart Mandel, a CBS writer, tweet it earlier. Mandel said only took Miles 30 minutes after warrants were issued to suspend them and he said that was strong.

Miraculously, after careful thought and hearing Jefferson's side of the story, Les Miles will be reinstate him the day before the Oregon game. It will be preceded by how much they believe that Jefferson is innocent and how he will be found innocent and what a fine young man he is.

Marshall:  I do believe you have hit on the very thing that will happen..much to the continuing stink of college FB today.

I wish......all programs could have a coach. AD, and Pres like we do...and  I think they do , too.

Don't forget that this is a learning experience for the young men, and that getting back on the playing field will be the best way for them to put this all behind them.  :eyeroll: :eyeroll:

Well, I think you can stick Jefferson with a fork.  He's done; never play again.

Serious?  Criminal assault is not an NCAA violation.  They're more into selling books, hawking autographs, and cheerleaders visiting high schools.  :dunno:
