Good morning, all.   

Chattanooga is worse than Atlanta at times.  Not as big, but a horrid bottleneck.  Hate driving through there.

Rain here is finally ending this morning.  The rain gauge measured over an inch yesterday afternoon, and it drizzled all night.  This morning it's just misty fog.

I watched the VA Tech vs GA Tech game last night (in Blacksburg).  GT ran all over VT, winning 49-21.  VT had zero run defense.  When I turned it off in the 4th, GT had attempted ONE (1) pass, and it was incomplete.  Wow.

I don't agree that Chattanooga is worse than Atlanta at times.  Yes, it is horrible depending on time of day but the bottleneck there is so much shorter than further south that it makes it a little better.  At least you can get from one side of town to the other in less than an hour.  No way you can do that in Atlanta almost all day long...

LF and I sat in traffic not moving at all for 1-2 hours in Chat twice in recent years, so we never go that way any more.  One of those was a Sunday.  When we get stuck like that elsewhere we simply detour around, using the GPS on back roads.  Don't seem to be any options around Chat, so we sat.  You may be right, but that's my experience.  Either way, I hate driving through either city.  Give me wide-open Montana any time!!

LSU idiots kept calling Finebaum yesterday, but his patience ran out when they couldn't support their argument with facts.  "Matt from New Orleans" kept saying Alabama gets favorable calls every year, year after year.  "Name one", countered Finebaum.  "Every year", was the answer twice.  Finebaum finally hung up on him for "having no facts to support his argument".

And when it comes to traffic, let me introduce you all to the Capitol Beltway, I-66, and I-270 in D.C., Maryland, and No. Virginia. A couple of hours with these idiots will make you want to renounce your allegiance to the Tide.

I hope we score 60 on them.  (Truthfully I'll be happy with 40)

I hope I'll be asleep.  I worked last night from 6:00 p.m. HST until 8:30 a.m HST this morning.  I then went over to a beach to try and get some sleep before coming back in.  Didn't sleep much and what I did get was extremely painful because I just can't sleep in a stationary vehicle.  Been back at work since 12:00 p.m. HST now with no idea when I'll get off at this point...Probably working all weekend too...
